Here is my feeble attempt at sequencing. I did not leave myself enough time. I think i like building the hardware more than sequencing.

Another great sequencing job and a terrific tree, well done.
Kev :-)

Looks GREAT! If thats what you did with "not enough time", then I can't WAIT to see what you come up with when you have enough!
-
Just plain pretty show on a very original song mix! This is awesome!
-
Dave, if that is your show when you don't have enough time you should be very proud. Crisp clean display with lots of color and movement and good selection of music, excellent job!
-
Looks great. MMS and I are planning a trip down to the Springs to see your show.
-
Yes that is just horrible. Are you kidding me?
Beautiful display, great job,
Merry Christmas.
-
Ha, we are our own worse critics. That looked amazing to me. I'm totally jealous of all the RGB elements....Great Job!!

I liked it, nice job.

Great Job!

show off
my first attempt was not near that good
would you like to come by mississippi in about august and sequece my show
it was great thanks for sharing
-
The first part of the show would be an awsome 4th of july display.... Nice
-
Wow!
-
That was a fantastic job, David!
The tree was great, but the coolness could be seen throughout the display. well done!

I have not had the guts to put my lights out in July because of the possibility of a major down pour coupled with 70 mile an hour winds. The first song was my wife's requirement when she approved this year's budget. :) We also have many military folks in Colorado Springs.
-
Way cool!!!!!!
-
That was great. Do you have spotlights on the house or was that just the smart strings lighting it up?

I have eight Rainbow floods that are powered by a single 27 channel Ray Wu DMX DC controller. I may be adding many more 10 watt floods from Ray.

Like your first song states, YOU SHOULD BE PROUD. Great job

Great job!

Came out to see your show last night (stayed for two run-thrus)... GREAT JOB !!!
The colors look spectacular in person !!
I assume the house across the street was part of the show? (At least the snowflakes and deer?)
Dan
-
David that is very very excellent. Great choice of songs and great use of rgb. Scott
-
David,
Great job. Need to get some pointers on your tree.

Thanks Dan. I wish I could capture the colors better with the video.

David,
Great job. Need to get some pointers on your tree.

One pointer I have is make sure you specify to Ray your desired node spacing. I did not and I received 1600 nodes that could only be spaced 2.5 inches apart without stressing the wire.
Also I am sold on the nylon strap method of hanging nodes. I burned holes in strap with 3/8 metal pin that was heated with plumping torch. Then used hot glue to help keep them in the hole. Most were real tight in hole so glue was just insurance. Only a handfull needed to be fixed throughout the run of the show.
-
DANG !!! That's a lotta holes !! ;D

I burned all 1600 holes in 1 day. Alot easier than zip ties to cord. Plus they stay aligned much better.
-
Very nice show.
I like all the lines and the framing of the house. Very clean and straight.
Would love to see a day time picture up close of the nylon webbing with the smart strings.
Thanks,
Craig

All vertical lines on house are tm1809 strips mounted to 1/2" PVC. I will see if I can get a pic of tree strands,

Gee, for something that's supposed to suck, it sure was good! You did pretty darn well for what looks like 100% RGB! What program did you use to sequence it?
-
You are too kind Gary. I used LSP to sequence. Without it I would have been at a loss. I have four other songs but they were mainly plagiarized from FastEddy of auschristmaslighting.com.
-
Looks fantastic
-
The video is good... Seeing it in person is even better! Great job. We really enjoyed the whole show!

Say your show in person last night. Great job. How did you mount the SS nodes to the eves and get them space so nicely?
-
David, how much longer will have your show up an running?

I was planning on the 1st being last day. But I will not be taking it down till we get a good day weather wise. If you tell me when your coming I can turn it on.
Is your show on tonight?

A few pics of my roof line. I used 3" clear ornaments from Michaels. I then sanded ornaments to frost them. I made clamps that mount to fascia board out of scraps from Trex decking material i had left over from building my deck. The channel was cut from 16 ft. fence railing. I was able to rip the railing into 4 sections to get 64 linear feet of channel from one 16 ft. railing. I cut holes every 8" and then hot glued the ornaments into holes.

Well done and very clean! Great use and ingenuity of RGB technology!

Who is the artist of the song of the song that the video starts off with?
-
I have to ask what version is the first song?
-
Sorry for delay. The song is "God Bless the USA and Armed Forces Medley" artist is "The American Patriots". it is on Itunes. I only used first part of the song.
-
Another video of show. Ran out of time so I copied 3 minutes of FastEddy's of AusChristmasLighting.com 2011 show.

Awesome job David! I hope that next year I can make mine look half that good and I will be happy.
-
Yours looks as good or better already.

Yours looks as good or better already.
Not really! I can put up a lot of lights, but my sequences are all old and not very good at all. I am trying to do all new songs and try to get some "swag" back, but I have a long way to go, compared to displays like your!
-
A few pics of my roof line. I used 3" clear ornaments from Michaels....
David those ornaments are fantastic! Which pixel did you use inside?
And BTW I now have a new case of RGB envy <fp.
-
Each ornament has three TM 1804 RGB nodes inside . But the ornaments have spacing of 8".
-
Beautiful work. Nicely arranged house and yard. You have given me some ideas. But...ummmm well, maybe next year perhaps a sequenced mouth on the big garage door. The eyes and eyebrows are there, and the nose......
Great Job!!!
