I have one of the Panthers, and in testing I am having issues with the board reading my SD cards (I have tried 2 different, 1 SDHC 32GB, and 1 2GB SD). I have tried 2 different cards, and I am having a lot of single LED flashes (SD card read issues). Every once in a while I can get it to read the card, but it is inconsistent. I have attached pictures of the front and back here.

Jon, as yousaid every once in a while you can get it to read the a card. I would retouch the solder joints on the all components. If you have a multmeter you can check the voltages on the SD Card (+3.3V & 5V). The panther supplys the 5 volts and the card as a 3.3V regulator build in. Also if you have any rubbing alcohol and an old toothbrush and and you can clean the flux residue off the back of the board. Use an old towel to clean the alcohol off after you scrub it. Let it dry before powering it back on.

Also when I checked the SD Cards before I shipped them out I only checked it once or twice. you might touch up solder pins in the SD Card as well. Just heat them up a little to let the solder melt. If need be add a little solder.

Touched up all the solder joints and it's passing all the tests.
