Title: Do I need both boms for dmx

Do I need the base ssr4 and the dmx option if I want it to have dmx, or do I just get the dmx option?

Looks like you need both.

SSR + DMX Option BOMS to turn the SSR into a DMX controller.

yep, memphis is right. you need both for sure.
