TM 1804 still the way to go, or the other chips?

Id go with ws2811...much more readily available and still works with DLA stuff as well as compatible with other controllers.  A tad cheaper too I think.  Just my thoughts....

i really like the square 18ga ws2811 lights. i ordered 8000 of them for the marching band props. The 7 propos (4'8' matrixes with 2" spacing) were driven by 12v 45AH batteries and each prop had a falcon player and raspberry pi 3.
one master, 6 slaves.

We had to push 8100 lights into all that plastic. Not a single led failure over the 3 month marching band.

Also had ray put male nd female 3 pin connectors on each end.

Ray's WS2811 work great, all my new stuff the last 18 months has been 2811s.. My 4 yr old 1804 still work great too.
