Just getting back into light displays... I have 2.5 on old computer... but it is on its last leg. Looked at getting upgrade. Anyone have it and not using it? Looking for sequencer and scheduler.

Take a look at XLights... its free and does more than LSP... xlights.org

I tried... Not working. LOR software is more like LSP. I do not have any RGB. Just lynx express controllers. So I am screwed.... <fp.

Vixen is another option. I ran my first show last year mostly on a Lynx Express and a Renard. I had no problems figuring out how to do so using Vixen. (Vixenlights.com) Great software and like Xlights it is free.

Still running LSP and works fine. I have 2.8 and it really isn't much different than 2.5. I actually like 2.5 better.

called light show studio now with version 3.0 in beta from what I have seen, but I haven't done a show for a couple years.

The people or company making LightShow Pro is apparently gone. Also, I can't find any trace of of anything called "light show studio". Anyone care to post something helpful like a URL???? Otherwise I have to assume that TAdamsOK is confusing it with something else. Or maybe it has already gone under also???
Does anyone have a copy of the LightShow Pro software or know where I can download it? I still have a license, but the computer where I installed it died...

I moved from LSP to what is now called xLights, and never looked back. Running Lynx Expresses, and new RGB controllers, It does it all.

Follow up question: Is there any way to convert LSP files to any other format? I have several shows I would like to avoid re-designing, but have had zero luck importing them into LOR, Vixen or anything else.

I Have Light Show Pro 2.5 and 2.8, but they both require serial numbers to run. XLights did convert LSP files but not sure if it still does.
