Nice video RJ, so when are you making the Flux Capacitor? ;D
On a side note, I see the mounting holes on the PCB do you have a enclosure for this or just looking to leave the PCB exposed? Just curious.
Looks like another fun kit RJ, <res.

Just exposed for that "ultimate geeking, bare pcb look" ;D

Looks Great

That is pretty neat. It would have been a good way to learn to solder.

Nice job RJ, looks good.

This is really cool!! What a great imagination you have.
I gotta have at least one.

Ok,
I finished up the firmware fixes and it is now mounted in it's rightful place.

Okay, I want one!
Actually, I need two. One for the weight room and one for the classroom.
Ball park Grid iron figure of when you plan the coop and price, please.....If no coop, when can we get the pcb?
-
I just need a person to run the coop for it. I will be leaving in less than 4 weeks for about 6 weeks. If I can get a coop manager we could run a 2 week coop and then I could order the pcbs before I leave and have them mailed to the manager.
Anyone want to run it and do we have enough people that want them to get say 100 units.
At 100 units they will run about $50 total to build include pcb and wall wart (everything to make it work).

I'd build one. I could also run a coop, but I live in Texas so I get charged sales tax on everything from Mouser. If nobody else steps up I can do it, but it might cost a bit more. I believe around 8% sales tax.

Ron, your welcome to but with all the offers to help get the coop going I guess maybe there is not much interest so I guess no coop needed. If there was enough real interest more would be willing to run the coop I figure.
But because you were a standup kind of guy and offered. I will send you one of the beta pcbs with instructions and BOM. You will have one of the few that exist that way.
Dad says I have to build one for his shop now that he saw mine and one for my work and 2 for friends and then you will take care of them. Pm me your Address to mail it to you.
Thanks for being willing to help out! <res.

I WOULD HAVE RUN IT BUT i HAVE NOT BEEN A MEMBER LONG ENOUGH.

Darn
Already running to many.
-
RJ, just read this. I could assist if you need something or a Coop manager. I also have the sales tax issue from Mouser.
I think some people dont want to do it as they see the time consumption.. i mean love Bill and you have put into running Coop's. That part doesn't bug me, so let me know.
On a side note if the coop doesnt get going let me know when the PCB's come available and I'll purchase one from you. I am interested might even grab 2 or 3 for me and my neighbor.
PM me when you get further info.
Thanks as always.
On a side note, Bill with the amount of boxes that have been in and out of your house lately have you discovered you have a lot more space in your house then you did say a month or so ago? ;D

I want is my hands on the PCB, Bom and instructions.
Coop is nice an all, but slows down delivery. I need to get some of these together for Christmas presents. I think they will make great gifts of gratitude to the folks that have help me with this blinky stuff.
The owner of Ace Hardware has given me from 35% to 60% off, if he knows I'm buying for my Christmas display. I want to thank him with a clock from the product that makes all of it happen.

Oh sure you have to mention Christmas presents.. Sigh great idea this would be a cool gift for my father in law's garage. Sigh more blinky stuff vs Christmas presents the great debate.

Sorry guys - I couldn't let another comment go by...I just didn't want to air my excuse but here goes...
I'm moving soon so shipping and receiving would have been a real nightmare for everyone involved. Otherwise I would have been happy to do this one.

Me too RJ, I'm interested but have not been here long enough to run the coop. I like to learn how to run one maybe one one of the senior members could PM me and let me know the in's and out's of doing one. <res. I know Bill has already taken on a huge load already.
-
Looks very nice. I would be willing to run the Co-Op but I'm not sure if I'm OK to do one?
What are the requirements to run a Co-Op?
-
RJ-
I can run the coop if you need someone.

You are the man! I will pm you a Bom link this evening after I double check it for correctness. It will need to be limited to about 2 week to make sure I can get the pcbs on order before I leave on the way to you.

And the coop is now open. Please note that it closes on 9/12 since RJ has to get the boards to me before he leaves.
