Well I had one I promised to build my Wife, Dad has wanted one for the barn since he saw the prototype and my oldest son ordered one on the coop to build for his house.
So we all sat down in the Barn with three solder stations and built Aeons today. The best news is they all worked on the first try. They were so tickled. You see this was both of theirs first electronic kit and soldering. <wd..
Had to get a picture or two. How often do you get three generations together doing much other than eating.
We had fun!

That is really cool.
Sure doesn't look like a barn. Where are the cows and the hay?

You say that but before we got into building airplanes for a hobby years and years ago a Tractor sat right where we are sitting. Since then the "Barn" has had a few major renavation projects. Like the following :
1 - enclose it completely and add air conditioning to build plane #1
2 - Decide to build 2nd aircraft much larger 2 yrs after first one is completed.. so tear wall out and expand / add insulation make nicer inside
..

..
..
8 - After the third hurricane in 2004 damaged it beyond repair bulldoze and start over on same location. go all out! <md..
So yes this building has never been a barn in reality but it sits in the orignal location of the tractor barn so to my family it will always be "The Barn" <wd..

Just nice to see a photo of everyone. What a great place to work.

Yes indeed the barn has seen it's fair share of use.
Don't forget the numerous cars that have been worked on in there. Sanding my first Camaro for one ;)
Had a great time Aeon looks great on my wall thanks again!
