Title: most green leds are dim

My son built his Aeon most of his green leds are dim exept from 6 to 9 those are as bright as the red. He did not pay any atension to the correct placement of anything.  We got it all corrected however when he was desoldeing he also removed the solder pads as well we had to put jumpers in in several places

LEDs can be damaged by excessive heating.  Sometimes they change color, other times they are dim.  That might be what is happening.

all led get brighter when the second light is between 6 and 9 and go back to (normal) after 9

Sounds like something is shorting out the power on three of the four led drivers.

Pictures are helpful.
There are many eagle-eyed folks that can spot solder bridges, cold solder joints, and incorrect componenet placement. Nobody here is going to make fun of the repairs you have made - most of us have boogered up a board at some point in time...

I've never seen this, and I have four of them.

I noticed that it was old about the time I clicked. I'm assuming nobody else has seen this problem, then.

Somehow I missed it 4 months ago. :(
