The Porch / Lynx Express Heat Sink

Fellow DLA Members
As you may remember from last year, the machine shop that made our heat sinks since the beginning has closed their doors. I have been to every machine shop within 20 miles of my house and I thought we had a new supplier but that fell through. We are again looking for someone that will make our heat sinks.
If you have the ability and the interest or know someone that does and would like to help us out, please let me know. I can make a drawing and send it to you.
We would order at least 50 at a time.

Current Coop's / 2016 Coop Schedule

Here is what we have so far for the 2016 coop schedule. We will update it when we get coop managers set up for the remaining coops. We hope it will help you plan your finances and get the parts that you need.
These dates are not set in stone. There may be times when a coop does not start on the date scheduled, but will be in the ballpark.
Set your notifications for the Current Coops and visit the forum often to make sure you get in the coops you want.

The Porch / Re: 2016 CoOps?
« on: January 19, 2016, 07:47:03 pm »I know it is probably early but trying to plan ahead. Do we have any idea when the 2016 CoOps will be? In particular I would like more LE's and a few Ex/RX. A spare Tx/Rx would be nice but I know that we are still having problems tracking down the one part.

We are working on a coop schedule. We have a list of coops that we are planning and we are assigning coop managers. As soon as we have everything figured out, we will publish a schedule.

Finished COOPS / Re: IMPORTANT Updated Etherdongle Coop

Well here is another snag for this coop
I have severely fractured my shoulder and am having surgery next week. I will be unable to use my arm for at least 3 weeks and maybe as many as 6.
There is no way that I will be able to finish this coop this year.
I apologize to everyone that has been patiently waiting for this. Sometimes things happen that you just can't control.
I will either restart this coop or start a new coop after the first of the year.

Finished COOPS / IMPORTANT Ether dongle coop cancelled

We are trying to get this coop finished. Here are the problems we have.
We do not have enough orders to get the PCBs done by our usual source so RJ has volunteered to build the PCBs.
We do not have enough orders to get the cutouts done on the cases at a reasonable price so you will have to do the cutouts yourself.
Because of the small quantity, there will only be 2 options for this coop:
Option 1 - Etherdongle kit and blank case. This was originally Kit 1 and Kit 2
Option 2 - Blank case. This was originally Kit 3 and Kit 4
The original orders are below with the modified options to the far right.
The price for Option 1 should still be around $102.00
The price for Option 2 should be around $5.50
These prices do not include postage to you
Shipping will be by US Postal Service Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes. All orders will require at least a medium flat rate box since the cases will not fit in a smaller box.
Shipping Charges: for the “Medium†flat rate box with PayPal fees. (In US Dollars)
Domestic: $13.03
Canada and Mexico: $41.35
All Others: $60.41
Please let me know ASAP if this is acceptable to you and if you want to continue with your order, change it or cancel it.

We get about 500 trick or treaters and we always have people dancing in the driveway.

Can some one please tell me what these connector strips are that everyone is having issues with. Or better post a picture. That way I know exactly where I might run into problems when I start building tomorrow.The connector strips are the green pieces and they each have 16 pins.
