Cleaning out the drawers as I pull out the stuff for this years show.   All of this stuff is a couple of seasons of old, but still new.  None of it has ever been set up outside.  Just built and stuck in a drawer.

I have the following up for grabs  (see pics attached):

3  Pixelnet Active Hubs (assembled):   $75 ea.  -sold-

10 SSC controllers Ver 1 (assembled- no enclosures but cat 5 connectors included):  $7.50 ea
1  String 106 nodes on 4 in spacing:   $20 -sold-
2  Strings 20 nodes ea on 4 in spacing:  $5ea -sold-

Note that the nodes are cut downs from longer strings so at least one end will only have a 4" leader

I also have the following 'Rainbow' series controllers and equip from SeasonalEntertainment.com:

2  Rainbow Brains  (kits: unassembled in original bags):   $20 ea
1 Rainbow RGB Flood (Assembled and in watertight enclosure):  $20 -sold-

Shipping will be whatever the smallest sized flat rate box I can fit it in (or USPS box if cheaper... just plan for flat rate when you estimate) plus Paypal fees.  Firm on the Hubs unless you are taking a bunch of the other stuff as well... then make me an offer.

Happy twinkling.

Sale/Trade / PIxelnet SScs and Nodes
« on: August 23, 2012, 07:13:20 am »
I'm abandoning my Pixelnet project for the present (just don't have the time anymore) and am looking to find a new home for the stuff.  Everything that's built, has been used in testing, but never outdoors.

I have the following up for grabs:

12 - SSc's  built, with pigtails and in the 'tic tac' PVC case  $12 ea

8 - 128 count strand of Ray Wu  3 wire nodes  (original vertical entry design, not the newer perpendicular entry setup  $50/ strand

2 - 128 count strands with splices  (same as above, but nodes grouped in four at 4" spacing, with 10' of wire soldered and heatshrink spliced between each group)  $40 ea

I have a 16 port passive hub,  a control board, and a Corsair CX1000 power supply as well, but I need to pull them out and verify functionality and model, before I add them here.

2 'Rainbow Brain' controller kits from seasonalentertainmentllc.  These are not built and come in the original packages  $35 ea   (I have a third built but has a problem with one channel, I will include for free if someone buys the other two together)

1 Floodlight by seasonalentertainmentllc.  This is built and comes in the waterproof enclosure (home depot 150w halogen)  $20

2 30Amp 12V DC power supplies.  Can't remember where I got these, but they are new, unused, and come with the AC power cord.  Each has a bank of 3 output terminals and each can handle 30 amps at 12v on 110AC input  (Bought them to run the brains)  $30ea

All items are plus actual shipping.  Probably flat rate box given the weights.   PM me with questions or requests.

Thanks.

and this is 'under the hood' of the second panel to the actual control board.   All four units have the double front panel with the power switch and external fuses.  All cables are 3 prong and fully grounded.

I have 4 extra dmx dongles  (Standard Lynx Dongle v2) assembled in with cases to sell.   These were all purchased, assembled, and tested in spring/summer 2011.  I was using them for smart strings, but scaled back in that endeavor and no longer need so many.

$60 ea + actual shipping.

I have 4 Light-o-rama controllers I'm ready to let go.   These are the pre-fab steel 30amp controllers set up for commercial use.  One has the MP3 pro show director installed (sd card run show direct from unit).

They are the 2nd gen equivalent of the 1602 controller currnently sold on the LOR site.  These just turned 4 years old, but were only used for 2 seasons (I ran Lynx only the last two years) and were never out in the weather (units were inside garage with wiring out through the windows to yard.  I hooked them up and ran a test to make sure and they all function perfectly.

Planning on ebaying them shortly but figured I'd throw em up here first just in case anyone was looking.  They were $340 ea new and $480 for the one with the show director.   Looking to clear $1000 even for the lot or pieced out at $240 ea and $350 for the one with the show director.

Will ship cheapest method available, local pickup, or as requested by buyer.

I can send pics if anyone is interested.

Everything's been taken or claimed at this point.   If something falls through I'll put it back up.

Thanks for all the interest.

Bit off waaaaaay more than I could chew with these, so letting about half of my stuff go.   (Figure it's better to let someone use it than let it sit in a closet til next year).   Should be priced below cost and before shipping

Here's what I've got-

Lights and controllers:

128 node string from Ray Wu's store on Aliexpress with SSC built and attached.  Controller enclosed in PVC tube (as in RJ's video - not glued)  Cat 5 pigtail attached.... just plug into a hub and you're off.  These have been tested with RJ's test software and all pics are flashed with the test Hex... though I can re-flash to the current controller hex before shipping if requested.  Not tested extensively, and still mostly coiled as shipped from Ray.

I have 20 of these I'm letting go for $90 ea (each includes 128 node SS string, SSC controller, PVC tube case with end caps, cat 5 pigtail)

SSC Hubs:

I have 3 hubs for sale fully assembled and unused.

price $50 ea

I also have 3 Corsair 650nx (53amp) ATX power supplies (enthusiast line- about $135 retail), brand new and in the original boxes for these hubs.   I'll let these go for $90 each as well   (one is acatually a 750nx, but it's been opened and used to test the other Hubs, same price on this, and it's still basically new (never taken outdoors).

PM me if interested.   Shipping will be by flat rate box (this stuff is pretty dense, so that'll be the cheapest).

Worked like a charm... thanks.    For anyone else running into the same issue,  In LSP, the controller configuration needs to be set up on a separate zone for each hub if coming from it's own pixelnet DMX dongle (each of which uses it's own com port), otherwise, LSP sends all the info across one dongle..  Hubs are all set on universe 1 and the channel count for the SSRs just keeps going up  (ie, string 11 starts at 4097, string 12 at 4481. etc).

Think I"ll get an ethernet dongle just to simplify.

Looking for some V2 assistance with Smart Strings.   I've built a Halloween web out of smart strings that uses a full 12 128 node strands.   You can only use 10 in a single pixelnet universe, so I've got two hubs, two ATX controllers, two Dmx dongles, running 10 strands from one and 2 from the other.  I've set some basic sequences in LSP v2 but can't get the output to universe 2 (last two strands) to work.   Not sure I've configured properly.

I have the 1st hub set to universe 1, with a dongle (com 6) running 10 strands
I have the 2nd hub with jumpers set to universe 2, a dongle (com 8) trying to run 2 strands
I have the LSP controllers configured on separate com ports in zones 1 and 2 respectively.

Ive set it up with the second hub starting at channel 1 (zone 2), then tried starting at channel 4097 (zone 1 and tried on zone 2)

I have good com through the dongles as I've switched them back and forth and each works fine on the first hub.  I've checked the second hub and it works fine.  Not sure what I'm doing wrong.... not even sure if it's a wrong set up on the hub or in LSP.

Here's a few pics of the floods and spots.

Note that the spot on the left is the seasonal entertainment enclosure.  The spot in the center are the ones I have available for sale.  This enclosure is one I found for an outside CCTV security camera.  It has gaskets at the lens and lid screw.  It also has a standard wire gasket at the wire point of entry which is not currently installed.  The Cat5 pigtail is a hair too wide to easily slip in the gasket so I was going to use silicone to seal the joint.  I will include the gasket and a 4 pin waterproof pigtail along with the cat5 pigtail shown in the event you would want to modify it.

The flood has the gasket installed with the cat 5 pigtail, but I have the 4pin waterproof pigtail for these as well.
