According to the Wiki, each Aether II is estimated to consume 35 watts.  88 watts should be fine for 2 Aethers (70 watts).

that socket is ruined. The solder is shorting out the input of the optocoupler which would prevent the triac from turning on.

No RJ45 failures for me in 2 seasons.  Keep the RJ45's.  It is easier to use them than soldering custom cables.  If I have problems, I would go with the 4-core connectors from Ray.

In my working with manufacturers in China, I have learned one of the best times to email China is in the evenings (US time) which is their morning (next day).  You can exchange several emails during that time before going to bed.
