I went through and reflowed all of my joints on the board just to make sure that a bad joint was not adding to the issue. Thank you for all of your replies. The show is up and running!

<fp. Alright fixed the problem by swaping the 485's does anyone know why this happens sometimes?

Thank you for the quick response I didn't even think of the problem lying with the opto's I switched it out for a spare I had and it works fine. Another problem arose and it is now the Data Link light is lit with nothing attached. Any Ideas.

I have just finished my third LE and when i run the tests I get no response from LED 2. I have ruled out the 485's as I have swapped them onto a working board and it functioned fine. Also I have re flashed the PIC twice to no avail. Any other things I should look for? Any Help would be greatly appreciated Thank you in advance!

At one point the Orbit enclosures were on sale at lowes for under $5 a piece that is why people started to use them it just depends on location and season. Northern Lowe's were selling them off as they are not on high demand during the winter seasons. This allowed buyers to has them drop shipped from the stores for a greatly reduced price. you just have to do some calling around.

The express fits nicely in a Orbit sprinkler timer box available at Lowes.

We have been able to get them pretty cheap if you call around to stores and see what they have in stock and what they are getting rid of them for. They also come with GFI plugs already installed.

I have a degree in Computer Networks and Systems and I am currently a Network Engineer for a small company serving the North West Lower Peninsula of Michigan. We work mostly in factories and warehouses as well as healthcare buildings.

My Lowes and Menards up here in Big Rapids MIchigan had some stuff left. Lots of blowups and white lights both incans and leds. 75% off at Lowes and an extra 11% off at Menards with rebate on the whole store! who can pass up on the blow ups at $30 for a previously $150! Even if i don't use it myself should be easy to get rid of.
