I have only 3 ETD Multicast universes and one extra USB defined on both XL and in the FPP. I will set up all 32 universes in XL and try again.

Thanks you guys for the explanations.

I am driving E1.31 through an ETD to Active Hub running (4) universes (2) DMX and (2) PixelNet.  In XL, I just create (4) universes 1-2048 and run the tests from there.  I am using the MicroSSC from Falcon Christmas as well as the SSC's from here with no issues.  Maybe a screenshot of your settings in both would help?

Lynx MR16 / 16 CH DC Controller / Channels not working
« on: December 23, 2013, 10:37:09 pm »
Good evening and Merry early Christmas!

I have a couple of MR16's I built during the summer.  I am having issues with them both as they both seem to have channels that are not working.  I measured the voltage to each lug and in one, 2 of the 16 are not working and the other, 4 of 16 are out.  I checked for burned areas, checked for cold solder joints, etc. but nothing jumps out and slaps me in the face.  On one, a couple for the channels are intermittent.

I am driving these with the usb dongle in DMX mdoe using xLights.  Distance from the computer is less than 15'.  I have done this with only the MR16's on the line and nothing else.  Only driving dumb RGB's at this point (6) of the rectangle from Holiday Coro on each channel.

Ideas?

Thanks in advance,

I'm about to trash my incan arches.  Already built my RGB arches.  If you were in the Atlanta area I would give them to you.  Here is one trick I learned after I built mine.  Start in the middle of the string and wrap pulling both ends around at the same time.  Good luck.

How much do you want for them Jim?

For you mark free.  A couple of sections need a some bulbs replaced.  These are free standing low arches maybe 24 to 30 inches at the peak, but you could redo the base and make them go higher.  I will be putting these in the trash can sometime before I tear the display down in order to make room for my new arches and other stuff.  Will cost you more in gas than it would to make them new.  LOL  But then we could meet face to face and you could see a couple of displays on this side of town.  Of course I am only barely running right now.  This is only my second night up and running.  I did some of those stupid decisions we all do and screwed up my old sequences by eliminating hybrid mode without thinking it thru.  Then had to go back and add hybrid mode to every SSC and recheck all the sequences.  Fortunately I did not compress my channel numbering.

Sorry to hear you are having issues Jim.  Due to weather and work, I have not had much of a chance to get anything up on this end either.  Hope to have it done this week.  I look forward to meeting you face to face, let me know when you are not working on your display or working with your trains and we will do this!!  PM me what looks good for you.

It would be nice to have.  There is one for the Android and it works really well in case you have one of those also.
