Lynx EtherDongle / Re: Noob needing help on etherdongle

Hi when setting up a sequence- in sequence plugin mapping etherdongle is in the plugins in use column i take it that that is all I'm required to do.

I tried programming the pic twice with the pixelnet ver2 firmware and it confirms it with pickit3, the etherdongle was advertised as assembled and fully functional.

Hi there
I have checked the voltage regulators and they are in the correct positions.

Power Supply is 6V =0.8A

And i have placed the etherdongle.dll and the pixel net.dll in the output folder in Vixen

I will post photos in better light later.

Thanks Steve.

Hi guys I bought my etherdongle built the issue I have is that the lights on the magjack don't light up when I plug into the computer, I have tried to connect to two computers and also my router but still nothing, the light on the etherdongle is lit and I have flashed it twice with my pickit3, I'm trying to run it on vixen on windows 7.

Is there any configuration I need to do on the computer or is it the etherdongle.

Thanks Steve.

I've got to give it to you guys.....
This site is a wealth of knowledge I mean I have got the bug big time for 2013, I started off looking at LOR fully assembled then I thought to myself that I could just buy one of there kits and do it myself then BANG....I stumbled across you guys I gotta tell you I'm turning into a MONSTER I find my myself trolling through the posts, wiki you name it.

Just bought a roll of cat5 , crimpers , and lights from rays today so I'm just hanging out for a coop for the etherdongle  so no doubt I'll be picking you guys brains if I'm stuck.

Anyway I'd just like to say thanks for the information you guys are putting out.
Regards Steve
