Christmas Eve Show

Does anybody do anything extra for Christmas eve?

I have my conductor setup to run my normal show and when that is over it switches over to the Eve show.
Basically the Nativity scene is lit and it plays songs
1 - O Holy Night
2 - Little town of Bethlehem
3 - Silent Night

Until 11pm then it switches over to just the Nativity lit with no music until daylight which I think I will just have Christmas songs playing during the day.

That sounds amazing.  I have a nativity scene I didn't put out this year 'cause I couldn't think of a way to incorporate it with the new animation stuff.  I think next year I will try something similar.  Thanks for the ideas Rick.

Rick that is a great idea. I normally run my show until 11 then just turn the lights all on for the rest of the night. The problem that I found with that is I will have people lined up waiting for the shows to start. I wish I had a nativity scene then I too would copy your great idea!

I do that with my static display as well.  Around midnight after the countdown clock reaches zero, the house lights all shut down and just the nativity scene remains lit for the rest of the night.

Hi Folks,

We spent most of the night at my parents house. We got home right before the Normal show shutdown and it smoothly switched over to the Nativity show with music. At midnight it switch over to the Nativity lights only. The Conductor is Awesome. Many thanks RJ you made my Christmas and Christmas eve show.

We were out until 1130 and we got home the computer said the router was out of memory I have no idea what time it crashed

Funny thing is its a solo computer. It has happened twice this year. It only requires a vixen restart

On Christmas Eve, I join the "common folk" in the neighborhood and put out luminaries. They are a lot of work, but really do add a nice touch. After the show ends, I have another sequence called "afterglow" that uses 8 Aether IIs to bath the house in slowly changing hues.
