Cutting a groove in PVC
« on: November 04, 2013, 08:47:59 pm »
I have seen a couple of techniques for cutting a slit in PVC pipe for holding nodes.  Several have used a router and a jig to hold the pipe.  I don’t have a router, but I wanted to put some nodes in a straight line for my porch columns.  This is the way I cut my pipe, I don’t claim to be the inventor of the idea.

Here is a link to a pdf I created on how I did it.

That is really slick. Wish I lived closer I'd swing by and you could do some cuts for me :)
