« on: January 17, 2014, 11:17:32 am »
Looking to buy at least one active hub and a few dumb strings.  Unless coops start soon.

Just remember that there are no coops for strings and that dumb strings will not work with SSC's.   With the price difference betwee the two, most people are just going with smart strings.  You can set the SSC into string mode which makes it work like a dumb string (3 channels).
If at first you don't succeed,
your not cut out for sky diving

Yep.   Understood.  I have a ray 27 i want to play with this year and need dumb strings for that.  I figure i can buy from ppl who have them that want to upgrade to smart strings.  So i only need 9 strings.  Or a dew big ones to trim down.

I have some dumb strings I do not need.  I think there are 3 50 node strings.  I also have a few extra DSCs that have been built but have no connectors wired on.  PM me if interested and I will dig them out.
