I can thankfully say, RJ made it possible for our show, and many of our friends and neighbors shows, to be practical and reliable, way back in 2007 (and before) -- to today! It was RJ’s insight, dedication, education, and thoughtfulness that made amateur light shows not only possible, but popular! Some of the folks I’ve met on diylightanimation (DLA) have become dear friends, we share many interests, most of all RJ’s goodies driving seasonal light shows.
RJ, I retired about the time I joined your site. I couldn’t have done a show without your designs, the COOPs, your exceptional COOP managers, the admins and members. It’s been a pleasure and I’ll be indebted to you and other diylightanimation site members forever. I can only hope I’ve contributed back to the community a hundredth of what you and other members have contributed.
For the record, all of my Freestyles and SSR’s are still working, as good as if they were brand new. My favorites are still the Smarthub and the Pixelnet Dongle, wow, what a concept turned practical and flawlessly functional. (I recently acquired an original Lynx dimmer, just for my collection!)
My favorite quote is "If it was easy, everybody would be doin' it!!!" RJ made it possible, and easy, for nearly everyone to be doing it!! Thank you RJ, and thank you diylightanimation members! Enjoy your retirement RJ, you deserve it! (You'll be busier retired than you ever were when working!!

)
I’ll close with the most popular picture I ever posted on diylightanimation, dedicated to RJ.
