Are parts still available for this project or is it dead?

Was interested in starting my soldering projects (recently got in on the Express and MR16 CoOps and wanting to get the EtherDongle) with something a little easier and something that I won't be too devastated about if I have to start over, redo or give up on.

However, after reading through the Wiki it appears that the PCB is not available and the part marked "Purchase one of these parts" is also unavailable.

Please advise, thanks in advance!

We were looking at getting a coop together for it but this part held it up. We are looking at were to get them.

I'm no parts expert, but it looks as though you can get them directly from Maxim with a 4 week leadtime for $6.11 ea at a quantity of 100.

I just bought 2 of these pcbs, I wish I would have looked at the wiki first and realized the part was not available.

i'm hoping that a coop manager offers a parts only option to the coop. i have 2 also..

I also have 2 PCBs without the oscillator...  from the discussion it appears that there is a pent-up demand for 12 parts.


Has anyone managed to buy the right thing -- even at a higher price than $6.11?


Looking at the link in this thread I wasn't clear which item to purchase.
