I have had this issue and forget how to fix it.

Try:
reimporting the media file. Or open the media file in audacity and then save it out and import that.

I am in the market for like 1 or 2 ssc v4. If someone could spare the amount that would be awesome. Looking to do some testing and make some decisions before the next coop comes around. Pm me or reply here if you can help.

It is either a bad triac or a bad opto coupler (the little black chip). Swap the opto and see if the problem persists. If it does then you have a bad triac.

You are not the only none with this issue. I have the same problem with on of my controllers too. Bad triac on mine.

What about using that green floral wire to attach them to the chords rather than a million zip ties? Just am idea.

Unless your yard floods why would you need to elevate the box?

The Porch / Re: what type of spot lights are people using?
« on: October 30, 2013, 10:35:42 am »
I got these spots from lowes that are led. They use a single led and are really bright. Something like the aether but only in white. I have them being run at 29v dc off of a power supply. I am using a lor doc controller to switch them though.

I had mine flush mounted to a pillar and they were facing the street.

Are you going to use them as like washes or something?

If you want to add heat drink then go for it. I didn't and have had no issues.

What strip are you you using? I know the ws2811 fit and are a little loose and I believe the tm 1809 are a little tight, I believe. I can check later.

I can post some more pics if you would like.

I just ziptied them to the pillars. Laid two strips against the pole and then but a set of zipties over in the gap between the LEDs. Worked pretty well and not noticeable at night. Then, just cut the zipties and carried them in the house.

Rtv silicon is a wonderful thing. Put some on the ends if you want to be safer.

If you are mounting them flat against something, lowes sells a product called screen tight. It works very well. The strip fits right into the channel in the center. I used rtv silicone to hold the strips into the channel.

I mounted the strips to my pullers last year and it worked very well.

I made a thread last year about this. I don't know how far back it is by now. I will try to get a link to it.

Link to the screen tight material.
