I'm having trouble with my software. Most likely a user error problem. During sequencing when I select the play visible screen or play selection tool it plays that area of the sequence but the music is of a different section of the song. What am I doing wrong?  <fp.

You'll probably get a faster response posting in the forums at LightORama.com

Could be variable bitrate versus constant bitrate encoding, but I have never used LOR before.  You might try reencoding as a constant bitrate file as a test.

I have had this issue and forget how to fix it.

Try:
reimporting the media file. Or open the media file in audacity and then save it out and import that.

I did a little research on the Light-O-Rama forum. What they say is that is almost always due to the music mp3 file being a variable rate format rather than a fixed rate format.  They say to use Audacity to fix that.

Thanks for the info. I currently do not have Audacity on my computer. Looks like I might have to breakdown and download it and figure it out.
