So many lights, so little time!
DMX-out

I planned on putting two SSR4’s (with DMX) on my roof this year. One with an EX/RX in it making it wireless and running the second using the DMX-out in the first to run it.
I have them hooked up. The DMX-out in the wireless SSR4 is not working.
The "Treminate" pin is open in the wireless SSR4. I have re-flashed the pic. All the solder joints look good.
My question is does hooking up the EX/RX kill the DMX-out in that controller? If not where should I start looking for a problem?
I can move the EX/RX to the other SSR4 if I know the DMX-out is suppose to work with wireless.

I believe by removing the 485 chip for the wireless mod, you will not get DMX on your out.
This is similar to an LE losing the DMX1 out when using wireless.

yes, you won't have dmx out on an ssr4 after installing the wireless modification.
you'll need a tx/rx in receiver mode.

Thanks for the responce.
Not what I wanted to hear.
The EX/RX came from the coop this year. Do I still have to remove the LED's because they are under powered?

Oh well. It is what it is. I have a couple of spare EX/RX that I was keeping "just in case".
I am going to take the LED's out just to be safe.
Thanks again for the info.
