Hi can the DSC start address be programme with the dmx dongle. I have been trying for the last hour with Smart String Controller Configuration with no result its transmitting but don't seem to programme the start add. is there a FAQ on the SSC configuration software. here the settings on the Smart String Controller Configuration . start channel 1. usb dongle selected. 3 channel string. forward selected by default. node count 1. null mode 0 . string selected. click on transmit. now how long do you wait till it stops or do a manual stop. the DSC is set to program with 12 volt on. Please HELP.

You can use the USB dongle flashed with pixelnet firmware. The USB dongle flashed with DMX firmware will not work.

well I flash the dongle with the pixelnet, got it to program but its not responding with RJ dmx deck or vixen. I am done for tonight. Thanks for the help jnealand I got one step forward, I will try again tomorrow. good night.
