Does modded wireless need separate power?

I was just looking at the mod for adapting the Express wireless to other Lynx devices.  Specifically the SSR-4.  Looking at the mod, it doesn't show anything about needing separate power for the wireless board. 

I just wanted to confirm that if I were to try it.

Power is gotten from the 485 socket.  No additional power needed.
