Merry Christmas to all. I am thankful for even being here this year. After making a complete recovery from bypass surgery by wife told me how close to death I was during my 18 or so days in cardiac intensive care unit in July. Back in July and August I had no idea I would ever feel well enough to do my lights this year. But thanks to a lot of support from my wife , the Heart Path re-hab folks and blood clot surgery in Sept. ( think roto rooter) I am 60 pounds lighter and can run 2 miles at a time now. I am thankful for my family, my new found health and a place like this were its normal to discuss Christmas lights, mini trees and extension cords  all year round and no one thinks you have lost your mind.

We are also thankful that you are doing better. I need to loose 60 pounds myself but I don't want to try your plan.
maybe you can now be called "therealmidsizejim"
