These can do 16 strings (up to 128 nodes each) ... and the board is assigned to a single pixelnet 4096ch universe.
You typically power this with a single ATX single rail power supply.
I would also recommend an initial reflash of the pics so that you can program them however you would like
using the Zeus SSC utility.
