Update to SSR4 Wiki Manual
« on: September 10, 2009, 09:06:56 pm »
Quick suggestion for the SSR4 Wiki Manual.

When the step calls for adding the Triacs, a part number would also be good to mention there.

That could help some (mainly me) from making the mistake of soldering on the 5V regulators instead of the Triacs.  Of course this only becomes an issue if you are going the DMX route.

Anyways, i think the addition of the part number would clear up some confusion, as to not make the mistake of soldering the wrong thing on (esp. when they look so darn similar) .

Ahhh, but you won't soon make that mistake again.

We understand. Those things could happen to anyone.... or so I've heard  ;)

The Wiki manual is very clear now!  Thanx!

Technically, I "successfully" made the same mistake 4 times.  4xTriacs.  But I definitely won't be making that mistake on the 5th time.  :P
