I have been using FM transmitters for years, and there are no delays in the broadcasting from the output to the FM Radio. (I worked for radio stations also, and the time from the studio, to the STL to the tower to the radio was not even noticeable)

If you use any digital filtering on a separate piece of hardware between the computer and the radio, you "might" introduce a delay.
