I have a flood that has no glass does the Aether 2 run cool enough to use Lexan for the glass?

Not sure they get pretty hot like any light with this much output.

If you get the $10 housing from home depot, harbor freight, or ?? then the 500 watt halogen bulb comes with heat-resistant glass and a cage to protect.
