I noticed there is no terminate jumper for DMX does this mean we have to use them inthe begining or middle of a chain

You will see you installed a 120 ohm resister on the PCB. One of the switches in front connects it for terminating. On the Aether II, he used a switch instead of a jumper so you can get to it without having to remove the heat sync.

Thank you I noticed the jumper was missing and read the threads from this morning and thought this might be why

Because I have not seen it posted anywhere yet.
The other switch on the Aether II is the same as the program / run mode jumper.
