I'm thinking it should operate, but just want to make sure first.
Is the wireless module needed for wired usage? Otherwords, until i build that part, can i use the rest of the tester without it?

I have quite a few 4.7k ohm carbon film resistors. Will they work in the wireless receiver or do I need the 4.75 k ohm metal film resistors? I have all the other parts and was trying to save a Mouser order.

I'm thinking it will work fine. However, I've never tried them as alternates myself.

It will work fine. I tend to think in terms of 1% resistor values. In this case (they are either pullups or pulldowns), you could use any close value you have on hand. Carbon film, metal film, or even old carbon composition ones are all OK
