coop rumors?

IMO it seems like time is running out for any additional coops this year...  the time to gather orders, to get the estimates, collect the money, order, package and ship is running out.

I'm not interested in creating problems and whining, but I would like to have a water-cooler discussion to understand how everyone is doing with their hoarding requisitioning for the upcoming shows.

Maybe you are in great shape, you've built most or all of your kits, and your plans are pretty solid at this point. 

Maybe you know that you have all that you need, and maybe you have some things you don't -- but you aren't ready to put anything up for sale.  (I know that, I'm a pack rat! )

Or... maybe you know what you want to do, but you are discouraged about the lack of kits and can't seem to find someone to answer your "WTB" solicitations.

I'm asking this to find out...

1) what kits are you still waiting for?
2) are you in good shape and have what you need?

Let's keep it positive, and maybe someone can help fill that missing piece!

I'll start out with the obvious...

I'd LOVE to have a couple Conductors and Slaves in my hands now.

Lately I've been thinking of a 3D cube of lights (there are kits or preassembled products out there now) and how a conductor could be used to drive it all if I built my own out of Smart String parts.  Building the box, and creating the sequences might take my attention away from my christmas show -- so it could be a good thing that that missing conductor is not in my hands now.

I'd love to have a conductor, but I primarily focussed on Halloween and I'm not planning a Christmas light show.

So for me, I already have what I need for Halloween and I'm only about 12 weeks away from when I put up my Halloween lights.

I have six songs sequenced. All the H/W is built and tested, the only thing I'm planning to add into the mix is a three color DMX Laser, but that's not a killer if I don't get time to complete it before Halloween starts.

The only thing I'm waiting for is LSP 2.5, that should fix the scheduler issue, but even then I have a fall back plan if that doesn't come to fruition on time.

I realize pcbs are available and I could order boms from mouser, but was hoping for coop cost advantage

Waiting on the Etherdongle coop to start.  I've been waiting all year for that.  I just got my SSC and my Athers, but nothing else.

I have everything I need from DLA, but I will jump in the conductor coop when it happens.

My guess is behind the scenes RJ is working on getting things moving.  I'm hoping for an ED coop but I have the tools I need to run this year.  You always have to plan a year in advance under this model.  If you can't wait, you need be using commercial gear.
