Lynx Express / one channel went out

a channel that was working a couple days ago quit. I use an all lights on sequence to check bulbs. the LED above channel 1 isn't lighting and no power out. I swapped the Opto above the circuit with an other channel error stayed the same. so i assume its not the Opto. Where do look next?

xlights / lor controller sequence to turn light on at 5 off at midnight while camping

Its been 4 years since I sequenced any. Nothing looks the same. can i use xlights to simply turn all channels on and then off later. nothing fancy just single color LED lights.

 Version 3.1.0 of the Light-O-Rama Software Suite has been released.

New DMX Adapters Supported

 

The LOR USB485B and the Lynx adapters are now officially supported for use as DMX adapters.  The LOR USB485B should use the "Raw DMX" protocol, and the Lynx should use the new "Lynx" protocol.

 i checked and channels are off by 1. Software output channel #1 lights controller channel #2. LOR software doesn't give choice of channel zero. I increased the start address in my Expresses by 1 and so far so good.

Do the Beta testers know if this is a useable work around?

In version 3.0.0, the following DMX adapters are officially supported for native DMX devices:

With "Raw DMX" protocol
ENTTEC Open DMX USB
LOR USB485 (NOTE: The LOR USB485 does NOT have a physical DMX output jack)

With "ENTTEC DMX USB Pro" protocol
ENTTEC DMX USB Pro

It is possible that other types of USB adapters may work, but they may not, and if they do you may have to experiment to find the appropriate protocol to use.

I guess my question is if the Enttec works why not the Lynx? Don't they function the same?

Universe "1", Adapter "DPEOALD2", PROTOCAL "ENTTEC DMX USB PRO"
Adapter only had 1 choice and protocal the only other choice was raw dmx. I have played with raw Dmx to see what would happen.

I setup LOR ver 3. changed a sequence to add dmx channels and it works with my Lynx Dongle and Express.  <;d

does vixen need to be running for the scheduler to work? Will it start if the computer were rebooted after the nightly start time?
